"Villa Serrano" (Serrano Village) is known for the unique way in which its inhabitants celebrate Christmas. There are few places where so many visitors go to from all over the country and from abroad, who organize a series of ring circles, and chant Christmas carols, worshiping Christ's birth. The people also dance in the streets and enter the homes, which are also beautifully decorated days in advance. The dancers in turn invite the people from the homes to come out and dance.

Aside from this colorful festivity, this town is well-known for the production of some of the finest charangos (small guitars invented in Bolivia) and well accomplished musicians live here as well.
